Ceramic & Porcelain Tile Care
Do not use on Natural
Stone
Ceramic & porcelain tiles are very easy to maintain. .
STEP ONE:
Vacuum or sweep your floor using a broom or dust mop to remove
any particles that could scratch your tile.
Always use felt protectors under chair legs and check them often for dirt
and grit that may scratch the surface of your tile floor.
STEP TWO:
Apply a cleaner specific for ceramic tile directly to a mop until wet. A
microfiber mop works best to avoid streaking.
STEP THREE:
Use a back and forth motion with the mop. When the Microfiber mop cloth
becomes soiled simply replace it with a clean one. Cleaning the floor with a
soiled cover mop cloth could cause streaking. Microfiber mop cloths are
completely reusable and can withstand over 1000 wash cycles. Do not use
bleach or fabric softener when washing Microfiber cloths.
Protecting your investments:
- Vacuum or sweep regularly to remove any dirt or grit.
- Remove spills promptly using a clean, dry terry
Microfiber cloth and clean residual from spill with a ceramic tile cleaner and
a clean white Microfiber cloth.
- Use felt protectors under heavy pieces of furniture and
chairs.
- Use protective mats at all exterior entrances.
- Cleaners should never contain bleach, acids or ammonia.
Acids can damage the grout and the glazed surface of the tile, and bleach &
ammonia can discolor the grout.
- For removing grease, soap scum and mildew stains from
grout joints see your flooring retailer for a professional strength Grout
Cleaner.
- Never use oil soaps or wax to clean your tile floor.
- Protect your floor when using a dolly for moving
furniture or appliances. Never slide or roll heavy furniture or appliances
across the floor.

floor see your flooring retailer for a Tile Sealer & Adhesive remover.
